Lake Havasu City's regular weekly collection under § 8.04.060 is built around household cans that meet the 30-gallon, durable-container standard in § 8.04.070, so § 8.04.120 carves bulky items out of that route entirely rather than trying to fit them into it. The list in § 8.04.120 names tires, crates, refrigerators, stoves, air-conditioners, sofas, chairs, auto parts, and trees, but the definition in § 8.04.010.B reaches further: lumber, iron pipe, or debris exceeding 3 feet in length, or 3 feet by 2 feet square, or 2 feet in diameter, concrete blocks, and weighty equipment such as deep freezes, ranges, bed springs, water heaters, water tanks, sinks, and tree stumps.

None of that is removed on the regular route no matter how it is set out at the alley or curb under § 8.04.090. Instead, § 8.04.120 puts the burden on the owner or occupant of the residence to have the item removed at their own expense, either by negotiating directly with the same contractor that handles the regular collections for a special pickup, or by arranging removal some other way, such as a private hauler or landfill drop-off. That is a meaningfully different arrangement from the yard-waste bundling rule in § 8.04.100, which does let properly sized brush and cuttings ride along with the normal weekly service; bulky items never do, regardless of size.
