Brevard County offers scheduled bulk and white goods pickup through Waste Management/Waste Pro. Two free bulk pickups per year; additional pickups fee-based. Construction debris excluded.
Brevard County bulk item collection is provided by the contracted hauler (WM or Waste Pro). Residents schedule pickups online or by phone. Eligible items include furniture, mattresses, and white goods (refrigerators, washers, dryers) with refrigerant removed by a certified technician. Electronics, tires, paint, and batteries are excluded - take to Brevard County Household Hazardous Waste facilities at Sarno Road or Mockingbird Way (Cocoa). Items must be placed curbside on the scheduled date. Construction debris from contractor work is owner-responsibility and requires a separate roll-off or C&D hauler. Hurricane debris handled separately under disaster contracts.
Illegal dumping: $500-$5,000 fines under Brevard Code Ch. 102 and FL Β§403.413 (Litter Law). Placing bulk items out before scheduled date: $50-$200 code citation. Refrigerant not removed: EPA penalties possible.
