Illegal dumping violates MMC 8.12.030 and 8.16.090 and is subject to civil penalties up to $1,000 per day under MMC 8.16.110, plus abatement with costs recorded as a lien or special assessment (MMC 8.16.120 to 8.16.160). Misdemeanor enforcement is available.
