A free roll-out service is available for residents physically unable to move containers, with a physician's note or DMV handicap placard and registration mailed or faxed to Athens.
Placing bulky items out more than 24 hours before collection, or leaving them in public view early, can draw a code enforcement notice under the property-maintenance provisions of MMC Chapter 8.16, with civil penalties up to $1,000 per day.
