Conroe's recycling program through Frontier Waste Solutions provides once-weekly automatic collection using a 95-gallon cart with a yellow lid. Accepted materials include aluminum cans, steel/tin cans, newspaper, mail, paperboard, printing paper, office paper, cardboard, glass bottles (clear, green, brown), and plastic bottles (milk, water, detergent, shampoo). Plastic bottles must be properly cleaned out. Recyclables must NOT be placed in bags, as bags jam equipment at Materials Recycling Facilities. Garbage should be bagged to prevent debris and minimize odors.
Contaminating recycling with non-accepted items may result in collection refusal.
