Section 25-91 caps tree limb bundles at four inches in diameter, tied securely into bundles no longer than 48 inches and no more than 18 inches in diameter, unless the limbs go into an approved disposal container. Section 25-92 requires yard waste, meaning leaves, grass clippings, yard and garden vegetation and trees per the § 25-1 definitions, to be stored in containers built to prevent waste from blowing onto the served premises, neighboring lots, or adjacent rights-of-way. Section 25-174 bars any yard waste from being deposited in the City's landfill; instead it must go to the City's separate yard waste facility, bagged in City-approved biodegradable paper bags or another approved method, and the facility accepts yard waste generated outside City limits only until it reaches its calculated annual excess capacity.

Section 25-149 requires the solid waste hauler to keep yard waste segregated from solid waste and recyclables from the point of collection through transportation within the City. Section 25-121 sets the placement rule: tree limbs and yard waste go to the curb or alley for collection and cannot be set out before the regularly scheduled collection day. C directs that user fees for residents authorized to deposit yard waste at the City's yard waste facility are published in the City's Schedule of Fees and Charges, with Tier I rates for waste generated within a county containing any part of the City and higher Tier II rates for waste from outside that county.
