Jefferson Parish's mixed-use use matrix (Table 33-3.50-1 in UDC § 33-3.50) lists the secondary or accessory dwelling unit under LBCS code 1121 and prohibits it in six of the eight districts: OBM-1, OBM-2, TCMU, FC-1, FC-2 and FC-3. It is allowed by right, marked P, only in the Unrestricted Suburban (U-1S) and Unrestricted Rural (U-1R) districts, and U-1S adds its own special permitted use triggers.
