Jefferson Parish allows web hosting and computer data storage (LBCS 4244) by right in the I-MU, I-L, I-H and AIM industrial districts and bans it in the I-LF Landfill Industrial District. Jefferson Parish defines a blockchain cryptocurrency mining facility as a "data mining center," LBCS code 4245, and its use table permits one only as a special permitted use in the I-H Heavy Industrial district; every other industrial district prohibits it outright.
