Casa Grande, AZ Parking Rules: RV & Boat Parking (2026)

The same sentence that restricts heavy trucks in Section 10.08.160 separately names "a tractor, semi-trailer, recreational vehicle, bus, boat, or any trailer designed to be towed by a motor vehicle" as vehicles that may not stand or park on a street in a residentially zoned area of the City of Casa Grande. As with the weight-based restriction, this reaches on-street parking only; the ordinance does not restrict where a resident keeps an RV, boat or trailer in a driveway or yard. The same four exceptions apply to these vehicle types: a delivery or service vehicle may stop briefly, subsection B lets a vehicle owned by an area resident park up to two hours for loading/unloading or any other lawful purpose, emergency vehicles are exempt under subsection C, and subsection D exempts vehicles specifically permitted to park under state law.

Enforcement runs through the Casa Grande Police Department and, per Section 10.08.300, code enforcement officers, who may seek voluntary compliance, issue notices of violation, or file civil complaints for parking or blocking-traffic violations. Section 10.04.075 presumes the registered owner of the RV, boat or trailer responsible for a citation, and Section 10.04.070 treats the violation as a civil traffic matter subject to the penalty assessments required by state law, with each day of noncompliance a separate offense.
