Section 10.32.290 backs this with a straightforward obedience rule: wherever authorized signs are in place at locations the commission has designated by resolution, and the signs give notice that parking is prohibited during specified hours, it is unlawful to stop, stand or park a vehicle during those hours at those locations.

Both sections depend on the resolution-and-signage sequence set out in Section 10.32.010, which makes clear that a restriction is not enforceable until it is actually posted or marked.
