Outside the MXD, the townwide sign code in article XIII treats a temporary sign like a garage sale sign under the general permit and space requirements for temporary signs unless it falls within one of the enumerated MXD exemptions, so a resident outside Abacoa should confirm placement and size with the planning and zoning department before posting a sign, even though the sale itself never needs a permit anywhere in town.
