Conway Municipal Code § 5.04.08 requires every residential sanitation customer within the City of Conway, Arkansas to use only a container that the city has approved and issued, not a private trash can, and to keep that cart at a spot on the property where Sanitation Department crews can reach it on collection day. Because the container is city property issued for use, residents who move or cancel service are expected to leave it for pickup rather than keep it, and the city ties account status to the monthly billing cycle that funds the Sanitation Department Fund established under § 5.04.06. Placement disputes over accessibility, such as a cart blocked by a fence or parked vehicle, are resolved by Sanitation Department field crews and referred to Code Enforcement if problems continue after a warning.
