Violations & Fines

Leaving a cart in the right-of-way outside the two-hour pre-sunset-to-8:00-p.m. collection-day window, or failing to store it in a required enclosure, is enforceable as a Chapter 8.20 misdemeanor under § 8.20.370: a fine of up to $1,000, up to six months in jail, or both, with every day of the violation counted separately.
