Section 19-101(h) of the Arlington Heights Municipal Code defines 'Landscape Waste' as all accumulation of grass, shrubbery cuttings, leaves, tree limbs, or trunks less than six inches in diameter, and other material accumulated from the care of lawns, shrubbery, vines, and trees; larger tree limbs, trunks, and roots six inches or greater in diameter fall instead under the broader 'Refuse' definition in Section 19-101(p). Section 19-108(a), Solid Waste to be Placed at the Curb, lists landscape waste bags among the items residents can set out, along with brush or branches securely tied in five-foot bundles and other items in disposable containers weighing no more than 50 pounds each.
