08(B) makes it unlawful to deposit or place landscape waste at the curbside unless it is prepared exactly as the section requires. 07(A)(2), which cannot exceed thirty gallons in capacity or fifty pounds when full. Anything too big for a bag, such as bush and branch clippings, may instead be bundled: bundles cannot exceed four feet in length or two feet in diameter, cannot weigh more than fifty pounds, and must be securely tied with a biodegradable natural fiber cord, twine or string. 08(C)(2). Bag contents cannot exceed the rim, and bags must be rolled closed rather than sealed with staples or tape.

Landscape waste cannot be mixed with other refuse or recyclable material. Residents may also compost landscape waste on their own property instead of setting it out, provided the pile does not let material blow in the wind, does not emit detectable odor at the lot line, and does not create a nuisance or hazard beyond the property line. 07(A)(3)(b), landscape waste bags can only be stored at the side of a building during the regular yard waste season, April 1 through November 30, and are limited to one collection cycle, not to exceed seven days, before they have to be removed or picked up.
