05, requires that all construction or work for which a permit was issued remain accessible and exposed for inspection until the Building Official approves it, and it places the burden on the permit applicant to keep a safe access path, including ladders, scaffolding or handrails as needed. 2 requires the permit holder to request each inspection, generally at least one working day ahead. 2 sets seven minimum inspections tied to specific construction stages: foundation (after trenches and rebar are placed, before concrete), concrete slab or under-floor (before pour or sheathing), floor sheathing, roof sheathing, frame (after all rough electrical, plumbing and mechanical work is complete but before roofing), lath or wallboard (before plaster or taping), and final (after finish grading, when the building is ready for occupancy).
