Unincorporated Rowan County treats yard sales as a temporary use under Sec. 21-281, allowing them in any zoning district only if each sale runs less than 45 days and the property hosts no more than five such temporary uses a year. The same 45-day, five-times-a-year cap also covers Christmas tree sales, religious activities and civic-organization events held on the same property.
