Lynwood Municipal Code 7-17(h) makes it unlawful to park any commercial vehicle, truck or trailer with a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or more on any street in a residential or business district, except while loading or unloading or performing a service on property in that block for a reasonable time. Passenger cars and recreational vehicles bearing commercial plates are excluded. Along Long Beach Boulevard, LMC 7-17 prohibits parking any commercial vehicle weighing 8,500 pounds or more, or 84 inches or more in width or height, on adjacent parcels. 'Commercial vehicle' follows California Vehicle Code section 260(a). Section 7-18 authorizes signed truck-restricted streets.
