12 sets a weight-based cap on what can be parked in the public way rather than banning trucks by name: only a pleasure or passenger car, a station wagon, or a privately owned panel or pickup truck of three-quarter ton capacity or less may be parked or stored on any street, right-of-way, or easement in the village, unless a posted sign specifically allows otherwise. The section carries a narrow working exception for a vehicle actually making a delivery or picking up a load: that vehicle may be driven on the street for no more than the minimum distance needed to complete the delivery or pickup, and may remain parked for no more than the minimum time the delivery or pickup requires.
