15(A), 'Parking of Vehicle,' makes it unlawful to park a commercial vehicle, including contractors' equipment, with a gross loaded weight over 8,000 pounds and/or a classification other than 'B' under the Illinois Vehicle Code, in any residentially zoned area at any time, with narrow exceptions for making a delivery or rendering a service at the premises. The ordinance closes an obvious loophole: parking the vehicle at the operator's own residence does not count as delivering or servicing, and is expressly prohibited. 15(A)(1) regardless of size or plate classification, except while actually making a delivery or rendering a service there.

15(A)(2): one such vehicle may park per residence, but any storage of commercial or contractor equipment and materials inside it must be completely concealed from view without a tarp, ladders may stay on the roof, and the vehicle including any roof-mounted ladders cannot exceed nine feet in height. A non-conforming commercial vehicle found on residential property must be removed or stored inside a structure. The same section separately limits public passenger vehicles like liveries to one per residence except while dropping off or picking up a passenger, and caps hauling trailers parked in residential districts at nine feet in height and twenty-five feet in body length excluding the hitch, with only one trailer per lot.
