Lehi, UT Parking Rules: Loading Zones (2026)

A sets the numeric loading standard for wholesale, manufacturing, and industrial buildings: one loading and unloading space for every 10,000 square feet of floor area, for buildings of 100,000 square feet or less. Once a building exceeds 100,000 square feet, the increment changes: one additional loading space is required for each additional 25,000 square feet, or any fraction of it, beyond the 100,000-square-foot mark. B fixes where those spaces have to go: required loading and unloading spaces must always be located on the same lot as the use they serve, and in no case can a required loading space be counted as part of the site's required off-street parking.

C allows some flexibility for shared sites: the City will not read the Code to block two or more buildings or uses from sharing loading and unloading spaces, as long as the combined total of shared spaces is not less than the sum of what each building or use would need computed on its own. D addresses mixed-use buildings the same way parking is often handled: the required loading spaces for a mixed-use building are the sum of what each individual use would require calculated separately, and loading capacity provided for one use cannot be credited toward another use's separate requirement.
