An oversized vehicle is defined as 22 feet in length, 7 feet in height, or 7 feet in width. Three free permit exceptions exist: a Yearly Residential Permit allowing Carlsbad residents to park their RV at their residence for up to 72 hours, four times per month; a Temporary 72-Hour Guest Permit allowing guest RVs at a residence, six times per year; and a Commercial Property Permit for hotels and motels to accommodate guest RVs.
Oversized vehicle curfew violation: citation. Utility connection: additional citation. Towing for repeated violations.
