Oceanside Traffic Code Section 10.28 prohibits parking oversize vehicles, non-motorized vehicles, and unattached trailers on any street between 2 AM and 6 AM. An oversized vehicle is defined as any vehicle or combination exceeding ANY ONE of the following: 25 feet in length, 84 inches (7 feet) in width, or 84 inches (7 feet) in height. Mirror extensions are excluded from width calculations. Per OTC Section 10.29, connecting any vehicle to utility or power while parked on a street is prohibited. Temporary overnight permits are available for up to 24-hour periods, with a maximum of 6 permits per month for residents and visitors. Vehicles must be operable and currently registered.
