Woodland, CA Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Woodland Municipal Code § 10.08.030 bars an operator from stopping, standing, parking or leaving a vehicle standing in 15 specified places, unless avoiding a traffic conflict or following a police officer's or sign's direction. They include divisional islands not signed for parking (A); either side of a street between projected property lines of a public work or thoroughfare marked by red curb paint (B); any spot the Traffic Engineer marks as a hazard (C) or the Council designates by resolution (D); across railway tracks (E); anywhere parking would endanger life or property (F); streets closed for cleaning, repair, construction or utility work if signs went up at least 24 hours ahead (G); within 20 feet of a safety zone's midblock curb point (H); within 25 feet of a crosswalk (I) or of a traffic signal or boulevard stop sign (J), except a bus at a designated stop; posted City property (K); 'in a private driveway or on private property without the direct or implied consent of the owner or person in lawful possession of such driveway or property' (L); on any sidewalk (M); unpermitted on City park grounds (N); and on an unpaved residential front yard not designed for parking (O).
