No more than one sign per direction of traffic is allowed at any intersection, and signs must be at least 1,000 feet apart except at intersections. Maximum area is three square feet and height four feet. Signs violating these standards may be removed and disposed of without notice.
Garage-sale signs placed in the public right-of-way, posted outside the allowed weekend hours, or exceeding the size limits may be removed and discarded without notice under LEMC 17.196.140. Repeat violations may draw code-enforcement citations under LEMC Chapter 1.16.
