LEMC 17.176.080(F)(1) makes it unlawful to operate construction, drilling, repair, alteration, or demolition tools between weekday hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., or at any time on weekends or holidays, when the sound creates a noise disturbance across a residential or commercial property line. Emergency public-utility work and city-issued variances are exempt. LEMC 17.176.080(F)(2) adds a dBA schedule: at residential properties, mobile equipment may reach 75 dBA (single-family) during 7 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays but drops to 60 dBA at night and on Sundays/holidays.
