Eagan, MN Trash & Recycling: Holiday Pickup Schedule (2026)

Eagan divides the city into three 'daily residential hauling districts' under § 6.37, Subd. 1.J: a Monday district covering the area north of Diffley Road and west of Lexington Avenue, a Wednesday district south of Diffley Road and west of Lexington Avenue, and a Friday district covering everything east of Lexington Avenue. In each district, garbage, other refuse, recyclables, and yard waste are supposed to go out for pickup on that one assigned day. Subd. 4.A.4 backs that schedule with a general ban: it is unlawful for a hauler's trucks to work a residential street on any day other than the day assigned to that district.
