The City of La Habra, in Orange County, contracts exclusively with CR&R Incorporated (also called CR&R Environmental Services) as its franchised waste hauler under a franchise agreement approved by the City Council, so residents cannot select a different company. CR&R provides weekly residential, commercial, and industrial collection of trash, recyclables, and green/organic waste using an automated three-cart system: a gray/black cart for trash, a blue cart for recyclables, and a green cart for organics (food and yard waste). Carts are available in sizes from 35 to 96 gallons, and residents may request additional or resized carts.
