Jupiter Land Development Regulations Section 27-1551 limits livestock including chickens to parcels zoned Agricultural Residential (AR) with minimum 1 acre. This effectively excludes all of eastern Jupiter (Abacoa, Admirals Cove, Jupiter Inlet Colony area) but permits hens in Jupiter Farms and parts of western town. Roosters prohibited townwide due to noise. Coops must be 25 feet from any property line and 50 feet from any dwelling not owned by the chicken keeper. Slaughter prohibited on residential-zoned AR lots.
