Section 28-33(l) allows home occupations in residential zoning districts on top of whatever else the underlying district permits, provided the business meets a full list of conditions. The occupation shall be conducted entirely within the principal dwelling unit or in a permitted accessory building, and in no event shall such use be apparent from any public way, with garages specifically off-limits for the business itself. The ordinance bans any equipment that produces noise, electrical or magnetic interference, vibration, heat, glare or other nuisance outside the structure, and separately bars any home occupation that is noxious, offensive or hazardous by reason of vehicular traffic, smoke, dust, odor or similar emissions.

Parking is limited to one off-street space for the business itself. Delivery trucks are capped by weight: no pickup or delivery vehicle over 20,000 pounds gross vehicle weight is allowed, except USPS and standard UPS or FedEx trucks, and the resident may keep only one business vehicle on the property with a manufacturer's rating up to 10,000 pounds. Employees who do not live in the home are flatly prohibited, and the business cannot require internal or external alterations, or equipment not customary in residential areas. Traffic generated by the business also cannot exceed what is normal for that residential district.
