Section 25-43 bans parking a commercial vehicle or bus on the premises of an occupied dwelling, on a lot that is not part of one, or in the abutting streets, alleys or parkways in any residential district. Enclosing it completely in a garage, carport or accessory building makes it lawful. The definition is wide: lettering or a logo advertising a business, racks or carriers for glass or pipe, statutory trailers and truck tractors, and anything over eight feet high and twenty-three feet long, excluding SUVs, pickups and passenger vans under a ton. A disabled vehicle has four hours to move.

A parking violation of this kind carries a $25 penalty per occurrence, which can rise to $100 if administratively appealed. Officers may instead issue a code enforcement notice of violation under Chapter 6.
