Section 7-4-603(c) makes it unlawful to camp overnight in a recreation vehicle upon any highway or street, including the right-of-way, defining 'recreation vehicle' as a motor home, travel trailer, truck camper or camping trailer, motorized or not, designed for human habitation for recreational or emergency occupancy. Section 7-4-606(d) layers on a citywide overnight parking curfew for a broader category, recreational vehicles, house cars, trailer coaches, and trailers attached to a motor vehicle, banning them from any public street between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Two exceptions apply: a vehicle parked adjacent to a property for loading or unloading, for a service call to that property, or because its occupants are visiting, may stay up to three days out of any consecutive seven-day period; and a vehicle or attached trailer may park along the frontage of a property whose address matches the vehicle's or trailer's registration, also capped at three days out of seven.

Separately, Section 7-4-603(g) bars leaving any nonmotorized vehicle or camper, regardless of width or length, standing on a public street once detached from its towing vehicle for more than two hours, except while actively loading or unloading, which covers a boat trailer disconnected and left at the curb. Oversized commercial vehicles face their own width, weight and length limits under Section 7-4-606(b) and (c), separate from the recreational-vehicle rules.
