Laguna Niguel prohibits commercial vehicles, buses, trucks, semi-trailers, and tractor-trailers wider than 80 inches or longer than 25 feet from residential-district streets at all times, and bars them from any public street between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Laguna Niguel Municipal Code (LNMC) 7-4-606(b) prohibits parking, on any residence-district street, any commercial vehicle, bus, motor truck, semi-trailer, or tractor-trailer exceeding 80 inches in width or 25 feet in length, plus any farm machinery or special-purpose machine. A residential district is defined as a highway portion (not a business district) at least a quarter-mile long with 13 or more dwellings on one side, or 16 on both sides. LNMC 7-4-606(c) separately bans those oversized vehicles from any public street citywide between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Both add to the 72-hour rule of LNMC 7-4-603(b). Enforcement is by Laguna Niguel Police Services (Orange County Sheriff); private-lot tows follow CVC 22658.
A commercial vehicle over 80 inches wide or 25 feet long in a residence district violates LNMC 7-4-606(b); parked citywide overnight it violates 7-4-606(c). Both draw citation and towing. Over-72-hour vehicles are separately citable under 7-4-603(b).
