Full Breakdown
Davie Code § 12-33(G)(2)(e)2 exempts non-commercial recreational trailers from the town's general ban on parking vehicles and equipment in residential zoning districts, so long as the trailer is registered to a resident of the lot. In every residential district except RR, A-1, AG and R-1, Davie's large-lot and agricultural zones, the trailer must be kept in a carport or garage, or in the side or rear yard screened from public view by a building, dense shrubbery, fencing or similar landscaping; front-yard display isn't allowed in those districts.
Violations & Fines
Leaving an RV, camper or boat trailer visible from the street in a non-exempt Davie residential district, outside a garage, carport, or screened side/rear yard, violates § 12-33(G)(2)(e)2 and can draw a code enforcement citation.
