430 defines an 'oversized motor vehicle' as any house car, cab-over camper, recreational vehicle or other vehicle over twenty-two feet long, or more than eighty-four inches wide or high, and a 'nonmotorized vehicle' as any trailer or other non-self-propelled device; a boat on a trailer falls within that definition. Subsection D makes it unlawful to park or leave standing an oversized or nonmotorized vehicle on any public street at any time, subject to narrow exceptions. In residential districts, zoned R-1, R-2, R-M or the residential portions of planned development and specific-plan districts, an RV or trailer attached to a tow vehicle may sit on the right-of-way fronting the owner's residence for up to forty-eight consecutive hours for loading, unloading, cleaning, battery-charging or other activity preparatory to travel.

The Chief of Police may grant an extension permit adding twenty-four more hours, for a maximum of seventy-two consecutive hours, after which the vehicle must be moved off any public street or posted private property for at least forty-eight hours before it can return. A visitor to a Dublin household may obtain a separate visitor parking permit to park an oversized or nonmotorized vehicle for up to five days in any thirty-day period, but only if the vehicle belongs to someone who lives more than fifty miles away, is used solely for recreational housing, and is not connected to utility service or occupied during the stay.

Commercial-district exceptions let an oversized vehicle sit up to twenty-four hours in front of a business that sells, rents or repairs them, and all of these prohibitions are suspended during a City Council-declared state of emergency.
