Doral requires rolling carts to be placed at the curb by 6:00 AM on collection day and returned to storage by 9:00 PM the same day. Carts must not be visible from the street on non-collection days. Yard waste should be placed at the curb the evening before or morning of collection.
Under the Doral Code of Ordinances, residential rolling carts must be placed at the curb by 6:00 AM on scheduled collection days with the handle facing the house and the opening facing the street. Carts must be returned to storage out of public view by 9:00 PM on collection day. On non-collection days, carts must be stored in the garage, behind a fence, or on the side of the home where they are not visible from the street or right-of-way. Yard waste bundles and bags should be placed at the curb the evening before or by 6:00 AM on collection day. Waste must be placed on the swale area, not in the street or blocking sidewalks. Carts should be spaced at least 3 feet apart and 3 feet from mailboxes, vehicles, and other obstacles. Do not place carts near fire hydrants or utility poles. Contact Code Enforcement at (305) 593-6740 for placement violations.
Leaving rolling carts at the curb on non-collection days is a code violation. Carts visible from the street when not set out for collection result in citations. Blocking sidewalks or placing waste in the street carries fines. Repeat violations face escalating penalties through Code Enforcement at (305) 593-6740.
