Public Urination
Albemarle County makes it a crime to urinate or defecate in public view anywhere in the county outside Charlottesville and Scottsville. County Code § 10-124 bars relieving yourself on a street, sidewalk, ground, or any public place where others are present, unless you use a bathroom or restroom built for that purpose, and violators face a class 4 misdemeanor.
