Parkway Planting

Any development subject to Albemarle County's site plan review under chapter 32 of the Zoning Ordinance must plant street trees along its street frontage. Large shade trees run 1½ to 1¾ inches caliper, spaced one per 50 feet of frontage; medium trees, allowed only where site conditions warrant, run one to 1¼ inches, one per 40 feet.
