Recycled Water Rules

Albemarle County's only codified "recycled water" requirement sits inside its data center zoning standards, not a citywide reuse program. Sec. 18-5.1.65(B)(2) requires that any water cooling at a data center use a closed loop or recycled water system, a narrow mandate that applies in Albemarle County outside Charlottesville and Scottsville only to this one land use.
